ENG8 is entering an important phase as its first industrial trial gets underway this quarter, ahead of the company’s first commercial energy sales expected in Q4.
Next Wednesday, 2 September at 6:30pm, ENG8’s co-founders will host a live briefing covering the technology, the first industrial deployment, commercial economics and the company’s progress towards commercialisation.
The session will also include a live demonstration of the current EnergiCell. Some of the key developments since the start of summer:
• Signed LOI with Primus Ceramics in Aveiro — ENG8’s first commercial customer
• Winner of PRIO JumpStart 2026, including a funded 100 kW pilot
• Letter of support from APICER, representing 1,281 Portuguese ceramics firms
• Selected for Tech Foundry Portugal, the country’s first deep-tech accelerator
• €14m STEP innovation programme application currently under assessment
