I’m delighted to be supporting Global ITMO as part of its pre-seed fundraising, following an introduction from 350 PPM LTD
Global ITMO is focused on developing large-scale agricultural land in Ghana, implementing solar-powered irrigation to improve year-round productivity while working towards creating Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes (ITMOs) under the framework established by the Paris Agreement.
What makes this particularly interesting is the convergence of several long-term trends: food security, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and the growing demand for high-integrity carbon markets. As countries and businesses look for credible ways to reduce emissions and meet climate commitments, Article 6 mechanisms such as ITMOs have the potential to become an increasingly important part of the global carbon economy.
The ambition is to demonstrate the model at an initial scale before expanding across a much larger landholding, creating value through both agricultural production and carbon-related opportunities.
I’m looking forward to working with the team as they progress the pre-seed round and develop what I believe is a compelling proposition in an emerging market.
If you’re an investor with an interest in agritech, sustainable agriculture, carbon markets, or the evolving Article 6/ITMO landscape—or if you simply have a view on where this market is heading—I’d be delighted to connect and discuss the opportunity.
